SDR Team @ Tech9:
Sales Development Representatives (SDR) will be a new addition to Tech9’s go-to-market engine.
You’ll strategically outbound top-tier companies, helping introduce our service offering into new logos, and provide a polished, seamless buying experience for our prospects.
You’ll receive hands-on mentorship from Tech9’s leadership team and be a foundational part of building a best-in-class SDR organization. Over time, you’ll become an industry expert at the cross-section of custom software development and managed services.
Your Primary Focus:
Map the custom software development landscape
- Develop & apply a deep understanding of SDLC (software development lifecycle) practices .
- Understand & engage with our target personas; CTOs, VP of Engineering, and Head of Product.
- Learn & leverage key differentiators between Tech9’s offerings vs. our competitors.
Engage in cold outreach
- Strategically research & engage (call, email, and social-sell) top-tier tech companies to convert leads into sales opportunities..
- Qualify & support potential prospects that interact and show intent with Tech9’s website and marketing assets.
- Collaborate with Account Executives on various outbound approaches to instigate thoughtful conversations and create high-quality pipeline that leads to revenue.
- Learn & leverage various sales enablement tools to efficiently and effectively execute daily prospecting and outreach tasks.
- Interact and converse with prospects in real world situations; from Tech9 hosted lunch and learns to industry specific events/conferences.
Collaborate on strategic projects
- As a member of an early-stage GTM team, you’ll work directly with the CRO, VP of Marketing, and other Tech9 Executives on a variety of key initiatives like process building, enablement, and strategic customer outreach.

Compensation:
Tech9’s OTE range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 OTE, with a $45,000-$60,000 base and a $25,000 to $40,000 variable (uncapped). This salary range includes a few levels. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail. Salary is just one component of Tech9’s total compensation package for employees. Your total rewards package at Tech9 will include residual bonus, top-notch medical, HSA Contribution, 401k match, an unlimited PTO policy, and many other region-specific benefits.
Our team is extremely collaborative and works in-office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Interview Process Overview:
Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for our SDR positions. Please note that this is what we expect the process to look like; we may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision.
- Screening and alignment call w/ Jeff (Head of Talent) (15-30 min - phone call or Zoom)
- 1st round core interview via HireVue (1-hour On-Demand Video Interview)
- 2nd round technical interview w/ Nate (CRO) (1 hour - Zoom or in person)
- 3rd round interview w/ Delivery Leadership (1 hour - Zoom)
- Final round interview w/ Nate (CRO) and Jeff (Head of Talent) (1 hour - onsite, in person)
